how did i miss that?

So I don't know how, but I managed to miss the Emmy's this weekend. I wasn't even aware that they were going to be on, which is virtually impossible. It probably has a lot to do with the fact that we just got cable not long ago, and I haven't been watching the networks much sense.

I'm not even super big on awards shows, but I like to see who wins, especially when a show I really like is nominated. And as it turned out, two shows I really like, "Arrested Developement" and "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" each got a couple of statues to take home, which is totally awesome. I'm hoping that the win for "AD" will help it get a bigger audience, because people, this is one of the funniest sitcoms I have seen in a long time. Hil-ar-i-ous.

And I don't think anyone's surprised that I wanted "TDS" to win, because, well, I love Jon Stewart. And his show kicks ass... so damn funny... and smart too. I hope the show continues for many years and keeps winning those Emmys, because they sure deserve them more than Leno or Letterman. Long live the King of the Fake News.
